I’ve been planning to redecorate my room for a while and I’m actually finally working on it now. Yay! Can’t wait to finish it within the next few days or so. I’m always looking for inspiration online and especially on Instagram and Pinterest . . . such beautiful spaces out there. So while I was looking for accents as I plan to have a very basic and clean white aesthetic with some bric-a-brac here and there, I came across “mermaid Pillowcases”. Basically, mermaid pillowcases have a full face of sequins on one side that can be swiped from on colour to another. How magical is that? I got myself a pair of gold and silver mermaid pillowcases and I am so obsessed with them that I couldn’t wait to share with you all, so here we are.
The beauty about them (aside from the fact that they’re sequined! And gold! And silver!) is that they are uniquely customizable. You can swipe any design you like on them from stripes to half-and-half to your name – anything! I love that so much because it means you can always have a different look and colour accent whenever you like. I’m here for the versatility it will lend to my bedroom decor 🙂 I love such pieces that can work in many ways when it comes to interior design because all you need is a couple of pieces and you’re good and can switch it up just like that *snaps fingers* instead of having to keep getting more stuff. I cant wait until my makeover is complete so I can share that as well.
